26 November 2019: Dalimfundo & PBSA honour little learners
We were proud to have backed a ceremony to honour young 2019 graduates of Dalimfundo Day Care & Preschool in Mpumalanga on 23 November. As part of our Socio-Economic Development Programme, PBSA assists the educational institution – a non-profit organisation founded by community members in 2013 – to prepare SA’s children for the future workforce through monthly donations.

The pbsa team bid farewell to 2019 in style, with a Night at the Oscars-themed year end awards ceremony at Casa Toscana in Lynnwood, Pretoria. Glitz, glamour & great food characterised the event, which attended by our very own celeb team, as well as family, friends and some of our valued partners. An epic ending to an epic year!
11-14 November 2019: SigniFlow AGS, London UK
This year marked the first of many SigniFlow Annual Global Summits to come, and for the debut year, the historic city of London was our destination of choice. Our team flew in from all corners of the globe, including South Africa, the USA and Australia, to get together for four days of workshopping. Intense as it was exciting, #AGS2019 left the team feeling invigorated, inspired and ready to take on 2020!
11 November 2019: Official opening of SigniFlow’s UK offices in Horsham, West Sussex
On 11 November 2019, the SigniFlow team hosted an evening of conversation, champagne and canapés in the picturesque county of Horsham in West Sussex, to celebrate another milestone: The official opening of our UK offices. Held at the famous South Lodge Hotel, the event afforded the SigniFlow team the honour of rubbing shoulders with our valued customers and local business representatives.
28-31 October 2019: Futurecom
The largest technology event in Latin America, Furturecom offers exclusive opportunities for networking, business generation and experience exchange. The event includes an exhibit of new communication technologies, and an international congress carrying out important debates around relevant themes around technology, industry policies, regulatory issues and market demands.
23 – 24 October 2019: Saphex, Gallagher Convention Centre
The industry’s go-to event, Saphex is SA’s largest pharmaceutical expo and each year sees huge numbers, with attendees ranging from pharmaceutical manufacturers in the growing South African & SADC market to top technology suppliers such as pbsa. This year we highlighted our Gollmann automation solution, GO.compact - the new generation pharmacy robot that has the ability to transform any pharmacy into a well-oiled machine with faster, more efficient and more cost-effective processes than ever before.
17 October 2019: Legal Confex NYC
The Global Legal ConfEx, held this year in New York City, brought together over 200 in-house counsel, law firm partners, law tech professionals, tech vendors and selected service providers. The event gives lawyer participants who have operational challenges the opportunity to liaise with service providers, such as SigniFlow in the tech and software areas, to resolve these.
10 October 2019: Horsham Business Show
A B2B event showcasing the diverse range of businesses in the area, the Horsham Business Show brought together businesses old, new and aspiring, to share knowledge and network, with the aim of promoting local businesses and maximising local trade.
8 – 9 October 2019: Healthcare Innovation Summit Africa, Gallagher Convention Centre
A gathering of Africa’s healthcare and technology communities, including the cream of the crop in the healthcare industry, HISA was a huge success. The two-day event gave the team the opportunity to showcase pbsa’s automation solutions and discuss trending topics such as how robotics and artificial intelligence are revolutionising the healthcare industry and driving down costs, with industry CxOs, administrators, heads of technology, policy makers and key stakeholders from public & private hospitals.
27 September 2019: Heritage Day
From flamboyant frocks to suave suits, our pbsa team went all out this year to showcase and honour our diverse cultures. Of course, no proudly South African occasion would be complete without a braai – complete with “pap en sous”. Deon Joubert and Nelly Bukhali walked away with the prize for Heritage Day’s Best Dressed this year.
26 September 2019: Tri City Expo, New Hampshire
Running for over 30 years now, the Tri City Expo is New Hampshire’s largest B2B expo and is the result of a collaborative partnership between the Manchester, Nashua and Concord Chambers of Commerce. Held at the Expo Center in Manchester, the event features some 200 exhibitors and attracts over 1 200 attendees, including community business players from a wide range of industries.
19 September 2019: Mid-Sussex Business Expo
The Mid-Sussex B2B trade show, which took place this year at the Norfolk Pavilion in Ardingly, saw the who’s who of business leaders and over 50 exhibitors coming together to network and share ideas.
14 September 2019: Jacaranda Spring Walk
Nothing says “teamwork” like working up a sweat together, and this year we officially waved goodbye to winter by participating in the Discovery Jacaranda FM Spring Walk. A sea of pbsa shirts formed part of the thousands-strong crowd that “walked off their winter ways” through the streets of Pretoria in mid-September.
30 August 2019: PBSA Spring Day
It was the eve of September and the team wasted no time in celebrating the fact that spring had finally sprung. We welcomed the new season by donning crazy (some crazier than others) and colourful hats, socks and slippers. This year, it was Deon Joubert, Chantell Harris and Phillipus Moloko Sekotlong who won a prize for craziest critter.
13 June 2019: West Sussex Tech Expo
Held annually at the Butlins Centre in Bognor Regis, the West Sussex Tech unites companies across the Sussex region and brings together local tech-minded businesspeople, guests and some 60 local exhibitors for two days of B2B networking and brand awareness.
